"An update to my review: After using them I have to say that I love these nunchucks, they are fast and very solid. I even hit my kitchen counter by accident and the counter got dented but not the nunchucks. They are strong as wood (without the worry of them rotting after a while). They also pack a bite (when practicing I hit my right elbow accidentally and it hurt like a wooden set "it's all good it is part from the feedback that you get from the weapon as you keep going to reach your way of mastery of the weapon"). All in all do not underestimate this polypropylene nunchucks, they are as good (if not better) as a hardwood set. Keep the good work karate mart, you truly have some exceptional weapons available."

"This set of nunchucks is pretty sturdy. The only think that I didn't like is that they could be dented pretty easily upon impact (I ordered three sets and one has small indentations among the octagonal edges). The chain do not have its links welded (which could get unattached after a while being used). They seem pretty strong like a wooden set of nunchucks, just the chain and the material tendency to indent seem an issue (it would be good if you could select to have the chain with each link welded or have it unwelded in case that you want to remove links or add links). Overall the design is nice (with the Dragon engraving and the details along the grip). The white rings in the picture are two small rubber bands (2 on each handle) that you could chose to leave to add decoration to the nunchucks or remove to give it an all black design (mine where red so I took them off in order to give them an all black look). All in all they are pretty good and pretty lightweight but with a good strike (they are pretty solid). Just be careful with the octagonal edges since they have a tendency to dent when you strike with them."
