This monstrous machete is a full tang 3CR13 stainless steel survival weapon. The steel has a black finish from an oxidization process that gives the metal the extra protection of being rust-resistant, which also causes it to reflect less sunlight. The silver gray steel is still visible on the sharpened edges, all 18 inches of razor-sharp fine edge, wrapping around the top to create a V-shaped point that will penetrate a target by slicing into it. The straight edge has two sections, a 7.5-inch lower section and a 6.5-inch upper section that are separated by a small sharpened curve called a 'gut hook'. This crescent slicer is designed to pull straight through small branches, cut through rope, or cleave open dinner. The spine of this black ops machete has 10 inches of saw teeth that are meant for chewing through lumber and rope, or whatever is blocking the path to the next destination. A black twisted wrist cord loops opposite the red Pakkawood handle to secure the blade to you even if it slips from your hand. The full tang steel extends out through the bottom of the handle to give a location to fasten a rope, cord, or lanyard through one of the 3 different sized holes.
