This club has the look and feel of a classic baseball bat, but it certainly doesn't meet regulation. The top 8.75-inches of the shaft has a metal sleeve with 20 spikes attached, with each spike securely fastened to the sleeve and reaching out about 2 inches long. While these realistic cosplay weapons go by 'barbaric', or 'merciless', they are just an efficient way to get some serious damage in without too much effort, or having to get too close to your target. Zombies can still bite even with their head full of holes!

The handle portion of this theoretical combat weapon is wrapped with a black faux leather wrap, which provides non-slip grip as well as a cool accent to the bat. The base of the bat has a bulb to help keep it in your hands, and a piece of cord is already secured through the lanyard hole for extra security. At about 2 pounds 5 ounces, this bat swings with the best of them without putting too much strain on your muscles, but just be wary of the follow through!

While this spiked bat looks as cool as any steampunk apocalypse remake, it was not designed for anything besides looking menacing on your wall or by your side for pictures. The spikes are pointed but not razor sharp, like the spikes from that punk bracelet you had in high school. They are made of metal and can thus do serious damage, but any impact will likely damage the weapon as well. Best to keep it on the mantel for a rainy day when the zombies break through the outer barrier and are closing in!
