This melee weapon was made to last with a quarter-inch-thick piece of stainless steel for the blade and a nylon fiber handle. The thick 440 stainless steel has a black anodized coating all over to protect the metal from oxidization, and the blade in return will help you be the best warrior this side of the Mississippi. Reaching just under 2 feet long and weighing about 1.5 pounds, this modern tactical axe is a great addition to your exotic blade collection.

Pikes are usually much longer, and the soldiers who carried them were referred to as pikemen. This line of defense would march forth, presenting their spears to the enemy lines in staggered rows. Good luck getting through that! This dark pike axe is shorter and more versatile because of it's durable handle that makes it ideal for single-handed use. The bearded blade shape let's you choke up your grip and use the almost 5-inch curved blade to chop, as well as the pointed tips on either side to stab, rip, and shred through materials. The back of the axe has a swedge, but not a proper sharpened edge. This prevents your fingers from getting dismembered while using this pike weapon as an axe.

The ribbed-grip handle is extremely sturdy, and while the blade may not be full tang, the steel runs at least 4 inches into the handle and is secured with hefty screws. There is also a lanyard hole on the handle base, giving you the option to hang this pike axe in your armory, or keep it close to your body during battle. It comes with a custom fitted nylon sheath that was made for this unique blade shape, so you'll have protection during transport.
