Just like our classic collapsible bo staff, this red extendable bo staff opens with a flick of the wrist. The force locks the telescoping pieces into place to create a 62" or 73" staff (depending on if you get the 5 foot or 6 foot staff, respectively). The black telescoping pieces are made out of hardened steel and the handle is made out of a lightweight aluminum, anodized red for appearance and given a machined diamond grip to give you an unbeatable hold.

The double-ended extension on the telescopic staff is easy to re-collapse. Just drive down each end into a hard surface and let the magnetic lock keep everything in place. You can even collapse just one end and practice with the other out. If you are familiar with our extendable staffs, you will know all of this already and how impressive a weapon this is for bo staff training. But, of course, there's more!

The special feature of this 2-piece collapsible weapon is the central connector. With a quick slide, the two connecting pieces disconnect from each other and you now have two red-handled batons. Not only does this give you versatility in your training and self-defense, but the detachable batons are easy to store and transport. They're so easy, that we even offer an optional case or side holsters for the five foot length that you can use to carry your staff with you in a comfortable and convenient fashion.
