The full tang blade of this high quality sword is crafted with 1045 high carbon steel that runs all the way through the handle. The sharpened fine edge has a decorative hamon line to give this katana an authentic look while not being an expensive clay-tempered blade. The cutting edge will still keep it's slicing ability for a long time, as the high carbon steel is tougher than other alloys, and gives the steel a clean polished finish. At about 28 inches long, this long katana blade is worth showing off.

To control your swings and slashes through the air, you will grip the tightly wrapped wooden handle. The wood is first covered with a piece of synthetic white ray skin, and the full tang is pegged into place and decorated with bright brass-colored menuki. Then all 10 3/4-inches of the handle is wrapped with a soft nylon cord wrap in a traditional tsuka-ito pattern, revealing the ray skin and pendants underneath while still keeping everything in place. The end kashira is secured with a black metal bracket that keeps the wrap together.

Weighing only about 3 pounds total, this snake skin katana is a beautiful display piece that will also function just fine as a way to bite intruders in your den. The synthetic scabbard cover of a monochrome diamond-back rattlesnake is high quality and stitched tightly together around the wooden saya. The hand guard of these fine swords is a curled black metal that creates negative space while still protecting your fingers.
