The Dying Art of Ninjutsu: Interview With Japan's Last Ninja

You may run into the occasional citizen who has foolishly dismissed ninjas as mythical creatures that in no way should be feared. Strangely, these people seem to disappear shortly thereafter... But if they were to stick around long enough, you may want to point them to the video above as proof that ninjas do in fact exist. For how much longer is another matter entirely.

This all-too-brief interview focuses on one Jinichi Kawakami, a 63-year-old ex-engineer who also happens to be the 21st head of the Ban ninja clan. As of now, he has no interest in training an apprentice to be the 22nd. Kawakami has trained in Ninjutsu since he was 6 years old.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey Repeatedly Reigns In Round 1

If you blinked at some point during this past Saturday's Strikeforce mixed martial arts event, chances are you missed the main event. Woe to anyone who thought they could sneak in a quick bathroom break before the fight started. It took Ronda Rousey all of 54 seconds to cripple her opponent into submission with yet another signature arm-bar move.

It takes me longer to decide where to grab a burger.

Whether you love the 'Rowdy' fighter's cocky attitude or not, you simply can not deny the fact that this girl has some serious talent. Hopefully it won't be long before we hear whether Rousey's challenge to Christiane "Cyborg" Santos will be answered or not.
Are You Ready For Strikeforce This Weekend?

Looking for an excellent way to finish a weekend that starts with The Expendables 2? Saturday's Strikeforce featuring a heavily anticipated bout between Ronda Rousey and veteran Sarah Kaufman should end up being the cherry on the proverbial action-packed cake.

While Rousey is getting to be the favored fighter of the two, Kaufman's experience (having almost twice the fights of Rousey) should not be overlooked. Fight fans will definitely want to work this into their Saturday schedule when it debuts on Showtime.
Expendables 2 Is Out Today, What Are You Still Doing Here?!

For anyone that hasn't looked at a television for the past two weeks, Expendables 2 is here and ready to fill your weekend with as many explosions and bullets as you can handle. So has it all been worth the grueling wait?

Well, if the video review above from IGN is any indicator, it's exactly what we've been expecting. As the review suggests, along with the 65% Rotten Tomatoes score, the action doesn't disappoint. Just don't go into it expecting too much in the way of plot. But then again, who expected to find that here in the first place?

Martial Arts Stealth Game 'Mark of the Ninja' Emerges This September

While release details on this stealthy, side-scroller from Klei Entertainment have been sparse, we were finally graced with a launch date of September 7th of this year for Mark of the Ninja. The price is still hiding in the shadows like a sneaky shinobi warrior, but since it's going to be an XBLA release, one can most likely expect a price tag of somewhere between $10-$15.

It's been a while since the ninja game sub-genre has seen a cool new approach like this one (we shan't speak of Ninja Gaiden here) and I for one will most likely be purchasing this one first-day. Already, I'm smitten not just with the amazing 2-D animations/artwork, but I'm stoked to play what looks like a genuine attempt at creating a solid, stealth, side-scroller. Yessir, I'm already setting aside some gold pieces for this one.
