Mortal Kombat Vita Review: More of the Same Great Gameplay

After a marketing campaign that included a series of live-action mini-commercials, Mortal Kombat is finally here on the the Playstation Vita. As can be expected, the reviews are already making their rounds.

Thankfully for Mortal Kombat fans, Joystiq's critique on the game was almost all positive, with the only negative remark going to the noticeably scaled down graphics versus its console counterpart. This shouldn't prove a huge deal breaker for true fighting fans though, as a small sacrifice in graphics are generally welcome in favor of a smoother frame rate.

53 Year Old VS 21 Year Old: As Amateur As Cage Fighting Gets

So here's the story as we understand it: Apparently, during what had to be a super tiny, local MMA event, a completely untrained, 53-year-old man was approached with the opportunity to fight in the one of the nights events. He said yes.

His opponent? A 21-year-old (probably untrained?) fighter. What happens next will be making the internet rounds for quite some time. And by that we mean at least for the rest of the week.

Quick Warning: This is an amateur video taken from a small-venue fight, not a public broadcast. There are a couple of brief instances of vulgar language which may be inappropriate for younger viewers. You have been warned.

Expendables 2 Gets A Slew Of New Posters, Gotta Catch 'em All!

Late last week a virtual flood of new movie poster prints crashed onto the internets, drowning every fan of 80's action movie nostalgia in a deluge of biceps and bullets. The thing was, the posters were scattered, like so many bullet casings, with different sites each given a single unique poster to present.

Prepare For This Saturday's Big Boxing Matchup With This Video

Martial Arts Weekend Movie Watch: Pirates Take This Round

Martial arts movie buffs have had quite the menu to choose from in these last few weeks, from a new overseas action flick to an intriguing cage-fighting documentary. Sprinkle in some top notch UFC fights and it's probably safe to say there are some happy martial arts fans out there right now. Let's just hope they didn't hear about Safe yet.
