Anime Ninja Statues Sneak Into KarateMart.com
Hopefully by now you've gotten a chance to check out one of the most recent additions to our shop, the Statues and Figurines section. Oh and you get bonus points if you found them already by checking out our New Items area!

So here's the story: Recently we came across these really great martial arts figurines. They are like the small (6 to 8 inches tall, some taller) resin statues that you can find pretty much anywhere but these really stand out. The amount of detail contained in each one is truly amazing, and we wanted to give you a chance to pick some up for yourself.

The statues featured here are, without a doubt, geared toward any enthusiast of stories filled with dramatic plot-lines, perky heroines, stubborn heroes, (sometimes) talking animals, and conflicts that are always resolved with animated, highly stylish violence and lots of yelling.

You may know them as anime fans.

New Mortal Kombat: Legacy Webisode Hits The Internet
Tuesday is here and this week's Mortal Kombat: Legacy is for the Johnny Cage fans out there. At this point it seems like the narrative is switching over to tell Johnny's story, which is kind of a downer because I was totally hoping to see what goes down with Kano and Sonya. I'm sure it's going to all come together though.

**As a side note: While this episode still has some profanity and violence in it, this is actually the edited version. A note on the video actually says that the unedited video should be up on Friday for you folks out there looking for a little more trash talk in your webisodes.
UFC Trainer Preview Ensures Your Karate Gear Will Still Get A Workout
With Xbox's Kinect still in it's infancy, it's too early to say whether the Microsoft attempt at a controller-less future of gameplay is a success or not. With many of the Kinect's launch games aimed primarily at a younger audiences, the older audiences of hardcore gamers have been waiting to see more mature games get released for the peripheral. This is where THQ's 'UFC Trainer' comes in.

With interest in the UFC and MMA in general on the rise (not to mention the wild success of previous MMA fighting games), THQ is looking to target the older male audience that is interested in taking their interests in the MMA to the next level. Unfortunately, if the preview found at video game blog Joystiq.com is to be believed, it looks like THQ may need to be going back to the training grounds with their new title.
